The books have had some finishing touches and some shadows added. Also we worked on the bowl to make it more realistic. I added a few more things to the pitcher and bowl but not much

  1. Hi Amy,

    at this stage the jug looks best. Be careful not to overwork, when you do not see the necessity (as a continous proces that is). Try to seek for necessity each time you make a brush stroke, so that in the end this proces will go automatic.
    I tell you all of this because I think that you are really talented. Also try to think of edge control, there are all kind of edges and all kind of transitions you have to pay attention to (and only a few sharp edges for the vocal point) Velazquez is a real master here you should look him up.
    Continue having fun painting , you could be a very good painter.

    Ohh and always look for value relationships : how much is this here lighter/darker than that, try to imitate the same ralationships.
